Summer Availablity

Since receiving Birth Doula training with DONA International, booking appointments has been continuous!

If you find yourself in search of Doula Services with God's Gift Support Services, here is my current availability:

August 2015- Booked

September 2015-Booked

October 2015- Opened

November 2015-Opened

December 2015: Booked

Please do not let this discourage you, I am more then happy to arrange an appointment for you with colleagues in the area. Simply contact me and I would be happy to refer you!

If your interested in availability for 2016, please contact me! As always, first come first serve.

Additionally, if your income is a barrier, I am OPEN to set up a payment plan or provide reduce rates. EVERY WOMEN DESERVES A DOULA.

About Me!

My name is Ashlee Abney and I am currently a Student Doula. I am in the process of obtaining certification with DONA international and have already completed the workshop requirement (breastfeeding basics, child birth education, and Doula Practice), readings, and have experience with attending births.

I am a trained Clinical Social Worker with a Masters Degree from George Mason University and a Psychology Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Providing pregnancy support and education has been the joy in my life since the passing of my son last year at 3 weeks old, Xavier Henry. My complicated pregnancy and birth allowed me to see the importance of educating women on the power of their bodies and the birthing experience. Currently, I work with homeless families in the City of Alexandria with the Carpenter's Shelter.
